Sweet summer berries and crisp white wine fizzed to spritzaliciousness! The orange blossom adds a delicate floral note. Make an extra bottle, then chill in the fridge until guests arrive.
1Place the strawberries and sugar in a metal bowl and cover tightly with double layer of plastic wrap. Place the bowl over a pan with simmering water and allow to steep for 30 minutes.
2Remove the bowl from the heat and cool to room temperature then refrigerate until chilled, ideally overnight. Strain the strawberry water through a sieve lined with wet cheesecloth. Discard the strawberries.
Tip: For clear strawberry water, do no squeeze or press the strawberries.
3Place the strawberry water, lemon juice and orange blossom water in a large liquid measuring cup. Add enough wine to total 24 2/3 oz and stir to combine.
4Using the funnel, fill the InFizz bottle to the MIN line. Top with the FusionCap™ and twist to lock.
5With the Tilt Head in the tilted position, insert the bottle and twist to lock. Push the bottle down into the vertical position. Press the Carbonating Lever at 1 second intervals, twice, to lightly carbonate or up to 6 times for maximum fizz.
6Move the Tilt Head into the tilted position and remove the bottle. Gradually slide the switch to the right to release the excess gas. Slide the switch back to the left if the bubbles rise too quickly.
7Half fill the serving glasses with ice and pour over the spritz. Garnish with strawberries and serve.
